Thursday 28th July – 165 guests joined us for breakfast at RACV Royal Pines Resort. The Prince Room was buzzing with excitement as we enjoyed a delicious hot breakfast before our MC, Moyra Major had us all laughing out loud at her hilarious stories relating to the topic of balance and perfection.
Moyra was the perfect host considering she not only runs her own public speaking business Major Confident, but was feeling the pressure to the keep the balance as she returns to work as a well known radio announcer for our Gold Sponsor 102.9 Hot Tomato the following week after being on maternity leave with her second son.
Moyra led a Q&A panel based on the recently released movie BAD MOMS, a comedy about keeping it together while trying to maintain the balance of our busy lives. Members of the panel included well-known local journalist and CEO of Study Gold Coast, Shannon Willoughby; MOB Mentor and Healthy Lifestyle Club owner, Marco Renai and Corporate lawyer and Head of Law for Commonwealth Games, Paula Robinson.
Feedback from guests was tremendous and we are pleased to announce that we raised over $3,000 from raffle ticket sales alone! All of which will be donated to RADFLY a local charitable organisation helping youth at risk on the Gold Coast.
