Women of Influence’s The Annual Great Debate 2025 will get you thinking, laughing and learning… 

This year’s topic:  That a woman born today is better off than a woman born 100 years ago. 

Meet our Affirmative Team – Nicole Cronin, Jaime Merdith and Chandell Labbozzetta who will support the notion that women are better off!

Nicole Cronin 

Business Owner & Director, The Coastal Clinic

Nicole Cronin is the Director and Co-Founder of The Coastal Clinic Plastic Surgery & Aesthetics, one of Australia’s most respected aesthetic practices. With a background in education, science, and business, she holds a Bachelor of Education, Bachelor of Science, and an MBA (Honours) from the University of Queensland.

Nicole has extensive experience in the healthcare sector, including her role as National Marketing and Sales Manager in medical devices. She recently led the Business 101 program for the Australasian Society of Plastic Surgeons, supporting the development of future leaders in the field.

Together with her husband, Specialist Plastic Surgeon Dr Drew Cronin, Nicole oversees the day-to-day operations of their thriving practice, all while raising their three young children. Her leadership combines strategic vision with a commitment to patient-centred care and professional excellence.

Jaime Merdith 

University Student | WOI Committee member

Jaime Merdith has been part of Women of Influence longer than she’s been alive—quite literally. Her mum, Georgia Lane, founded the organisation while pregnant with Jaime, making her connection to the WOI community deep and lifelong.

Now a university student studying Pharmacy at Griffith University’s Gold Coast campus, Jaime brings youthful insight and passion to every opportunity. Jaime is one of the youngest speakers to take on the challenge of speaking in the Women of Influence Annual Great Debate—earning admiration for her poise, wit, and courage on stage.

A proud ambassador for the next generation of women in leadership, Jaime is proof that confidence,curiosity, and community can start early and make a lasting impact.

Chandell Labbozzetta
