This event will focus on Mentoring to #PushforProgress on International Women’s Day.
As the March event is on Thursday 8 March, International Women’s Day, we will also be raising awareness and funds for UNWomen and supporting the International drive towards gender parity and progress.
This event, we celebrate progress in many ways:
- Our long-term charity partners RADFLY (Realise A Difference For Local Youth) will be there along with students from Arcadia College.
- We have five inspirational 12-year-old girls who developed and programmed an app called SunFun. The girls won the Sea
rch for the Next Tech Girl Superhero competition hosted by Tech Girls Movement and have been invited to attend the Global Technovation in San Francisco in July this year to pitch their app to Google and Facebook at the World Pitch Summit! - Our speaker Kylie Sprott will discuss how she has helped many young ladies through Mentoring and provide some tips on becoming a Mentor or Mentee
- We welcome groups from small to large businesses, Local Council and even local school teachers as part of their team development.
