Thank you to our amazing Committee!

2020 has been an exceptional year and the committee members who volunteer their time, skills and passion for putting together fabulous events should be commended.

Well done for not just surviving 2020 but taking on more to give back, connect with others, learn new skills and grow as human beings.

Saturday 15 February we proudly supported Gold Coast Suns Women’s team by hosting an AFLW event for their very first professional home game at Metricon Stadium!

The sales and marketing team at Gold Coast Suns looked after us so well as we planned the VIP event like no other we had experienced.

We loved being a part of the historic occasion and were so excited to be there to cheer for them on the day.

We also sponsored 2 players Georgia Breward (47)and Cheyenne Hammond (29).

Go The Suns!  Go AFLW!  Go professional women’s sport!

Thursday 5 March we delivered our biggest event yet for International Women’s Day when 315 businesswomen and a few men joined us for a Q&A focused on health and well-being.

As COVID-19 started to creep in and change our lives and just after the AFLW event, we were surprised that this event sold out so quickly!  We found that we had already sold more tickets than could fit in the normal venue so awe made a rash decision to deliver the event at RACV’s outdoor venue.

The atmosphere was electric and Dr Karen Coates, Lisa Spencer and Leschen Smaller shared so many great tips about looking after our mental, physical and financial wellbeing which was so well-timed.

Thursday 11 September we challenged ourselves like never before with a hybrid version of The Annual Great Debate.

This was an event like no other with a physically distanced gathering of guests in the ballroom at RACV Royal Pines Resort joined by virtual guests from around Australia and even around the world.

There was a great deal of laughter, plenty of entertainment and even some medical facts and figures to make us all think as the debaters battled it out on stage, women against men, on the topic “That women are better at looking after themselves than men.”

In 2020 we have been able to help RADFLY to support Ohana for Youth, Arcadia College and YHES House to support local youth by donating 10 laptops to be given to young people undertaking high school education who don’t have access to their own personal device for learning.

Help us support RADFLY by donating to their laptop program/
