Wrap up from the last event

As we get busy planning the next event, we wanted to refresh your memory about the last event.
To celebrate International Women’s Day, Jan Logan shared her inspirational, warm and entertaining story reminding us that it is never too late to follow our dreams.  Jan and her son Angus joined us from Sydney, although we should be seeing more of them on the Gold Coast as they open a new Jan Logan store at Pacific Fair shopping center next month.

The event was a sell out with the goal of 120 attendees being reached, we had a little more than that at 126 with the mix was mainly ladies, but with a decent number of “token” men.  We have many familiar faces and with our history as “Women in Finance” there are many from banking, accounting, financial services and legal although each event sees many new faces from various industries too.

Local radio Station Hot Tomato broadcast 4 days leading up to the event which was excellent branding and exposure! Gold Coast Bulletin and Ocean Road Magazine attended and featured the event.
